1. General

Sellboard is a classifieds marketplace where users post and browse listings, message each other, and — for service listings — make bookings. The service is operated by Smart Software registered at Gorczyn 64B, 98-100 Łask. The operator acts solely as an intermediary providing the platform and is not a party to any transaction between users. By using the service you accept these Terms.

2. User accounts

Only people aged 18 or over may use the service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. You can create an account with an e-mail address and password (the e-mail address must be confirmed with a verification code sent by e-mail), or by signing in with Google or Facebook. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

3. Posting rules

When you post a listing, you represent that it is truthful, accurate, and that you have the right to offer the item or service described. It is prohibited to post listings for unlawful or banned goods or services, misleading, fraudulent, or scam content, or content that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties. The operator is not a party to transactions between users and is not responsible for the quality, legality, or accuracy of any item or service offered.

4. Prohibited content, reporting, and moderation

In addition to the rules in Section 3, it is prohibited to post abusive content, content that violates the personal rights of others, content inciting violence or hatred, and spam. Any listing or message can be reported for moderation. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or the law. Where violations occur, a user's account may be suspended; suspension is reversible and may be lifted once the matter is resolved or the violation is remedied.

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you post (such as listing descriptions and photos) and grant the operator a non-exclusive licence to store, process (including automatic image conversion), and display that content within the service to the extent needed to operate it. The Sellboard name, logo, software, and visual design are the property of the operator and may not be used without permission.

6. Liability

The operator provides a platform that lets users contact each other and is not a party to transactions between them; accordingly, the operator is not liable for users' conduct, the content of listings, the quality of any item or service offered, or the performance of agreements between users. The service is provided "as is", without additional warranties. The operator's liability is limited to the extent permitted by Polish law.

7. Changes to these terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time, in particular to reflect changes in the law or in the service's functionality. We will notify users of material changes in advance, via a notice within the service or by e-mail. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of them.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent Polish courts. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
