This page explains how to delete an account on Sellboard (the website sell-board.com and the Sellboard – local classifieds apps for Android and iOS, published by Smart Software) and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Choose one of these ways:

1. In the app: sign in, open the Account tab → Settings → Delete my account and confirm.
2. On the website: sign in at sell-board.com, go to My listings → Edit profile, scroll to Delete account, tick the confirmation and press the delete button.
3. By e-mail: if you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the address on the account. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

• Your personal data: name, e-mail address, phone number, sign-in connections (Google, Apple).
• All your listings with their photos, plus the conversations about your listings and the bookings for your services. Customers with upcoming visits are told they were cancelled.
• Your favourites, devices registered for notifications, in-app notifications, connected apps and their activity log.

What is kept (without personal data)

• Messages you sent in conversations about other people's listings, bookings you made as a customer and reports you filed stay with the other party, shown as coming from a deleted user. Booking notes are cleared.
• Database backups rotate automatically and are permanently deleted after 4 weeks at the latest.
• Technical server logs rotate automatically once they reach their size limit.

Deleting some data without deleting the account

You can delete or change your listings, photos, phone number and favourites yourself at any time in the app or on the website. For any other data, write to [email protected].
