Cookie-Hinweis
Zuletzt aktualisiert: 2026-10-04
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser that let a website remember information between visits — for example, that you are signed in, or which language you want to browse the site in. Sellboard uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, plus a short-lived security cookie from Cloudflare Turnstile that protects against bots and abuse. We use no analytics, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. For visit statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless tool that collects no personal data, does not track individual users, and requires no consent. For more on how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
Cookies used on this site
| Name | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| SB_SESSION | Keeps you signed in | Necessary | Session / until logout |
| SB_LANG | Remembers your chosen interface language | Necessary | About 1 year |
| SB_COMPARE | Holds the listings added to your comparison tray | Necessary | Session / short-lived |
| Cloudflare Turnstile / bot management | Anti-bot security and abuse prevention | Necessary | Short-lived |
Other tools
- Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless — it sets no cookie and collects no personal data.
- If you sign in with Google or Facebook, those providers may set their own cookies on their own domains during the sign-in process; we do not control these — see Google's and Meta's own privacy policies for details.
"Open in the app" banner (click2) — browser local storage
When the banner is switched on, on phones the site loads a script from the click2 service (click2.page, operated by the same company that runs Sellboard) that shows an "Open in the app" banner. The script sets no cookies and uses no advertising identifiers. It does keep a few values in your browser's local storage (localStorage) for our domain. The values themselves are not sent to click2 (it only receives a count of the event: campaign, test variant and kind of event) and you can delete them in your browser settings:
| Key | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| click2-banner-hidden-until:<host> | Until when the banner stays hidden after you close it | Until the stored date passes (14 days by default), then unused |
| click2-journey-hidden-until:<host>:<campaign> | The same for a specific banner campaign | Until the stored date passes |
| click2-pageviews:<host> | Number of pages visited — lets the banner appear only after a few pages | Until you delete it in your browser |
| click2-journey-variant:<host>:<campaign> | The A/B test variant of the banner you were shown, so it looks consistent | Until you delete it in your browser |
These values are not used for tracking or advertising. The banner's views, taps and closes are counted only as daily totals, and when you tap the banner click2 records the link click without your IP address — see the Privacy Policy for details. If you do not want your browser to keep them, block or clear site data in your browser settings; the banner is not needed to use the service.
Cookie consent
All cookies currently in use are strictly necessary for the service to function, so they do not require your consent. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, analytics or marketing cookies), we will show a consent banner first and let you accept or decline before they are set.
Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete stored cookies in their privacy settings. Blocking the SB_SESSION cookie will prevent you from staying signed in, and blocking SB_LANG or SB_COMPARE will cause the loss of your saved language preference or comparison list — the rest of the site should otherwise continue to work.
